Great article. When you first download the gallery, it does take a little time to get used to it's functionality...and then to understand how it generates the code on the back-end.

If anyone was wondering, here is a quick tutorial on how to <a title="Put the NEXTGEN Gallery into your blog's header" href="http://www.jacobstoops.com/2008/05/01/nextgen-gallery-blog-header/" rel="nofollow">integrate the NEXTGEN Gallery into your blog's header</a>

Hi,

I discovered NextGen and I am pretty excited about it: however, I don't understand how to insert picture in a simple Post rather than a Page: is it possible without the visual editor ? I tried the same mechanism as for Pages but it didn't work.

Thanks for any information !

Under "Create new page" I select a page and click "Save Pages," but the selection reverts back to "Main page (no parent)."

How can I fix this to save my gallery to a page ID?

Just a quick thank you for all the effort put into this plugin. It has made my life a lot easier after I lost my main site after the host went to the wall. I was looking everywhere for a simple gallery presentation system and this is it :)

best regards
Kev

I used to have this plugin running but after upgrading to WP 2.3.1 as well as NGG 0.74 the galleries seem to have been lost. The gallery menues do not work under the "gallery" tab and it is a mess!
I have uninstalled and re-installed without any changes :-(

First of all... great plugin, very easy to use! But stil I have a question.

I have two galleries each with different photos. I would like to show the photos of these seperate galleries randomwize in the sidebar. So on top gallery 1 and beneath that gallery 2. Is there a code I can embed in the sidebar.php ?

Hopefully it's possible

First, thank you so much for this plugin! It took me a little while to understand all the logistics, but I think I've got it now.

Is there a way to add slideshows for the different galleries to the sidebar without using the widget?

This is one part that I can't seem to figure out.

Thanks!
